Adult Interviews

Adult interview:  You are to interview two adults (over 30 years of age) about their jobs / career.  It could be both parents (mother and father), or a parent and another adult such as aunt, uncle, neighbor, etc. 

Questions:

1. What is their job title.
2. What are some of their responsibilities?
3. What type of education was needed to obtain this job?
4. Was there any “on-the-job-training” in addition to formal education that was required?
5. What are the hours they work and number of days?
6. Do they work overtime?  If so how are they compensated for overtime?
7. Dress code:  What is typical dress for workers and how do managers dress?
8. What are things they like about their job?
9. What are things they don’t like about the job?
10. Do they work in teams?
11. What is the starting wage for that type of job?
12. What type of benefits do they get if any? 
13. Comments – they may provide additional information

iGoogle vs Windows Skydrive

Upload all three tab and table assignments (from Wed. May 18) to both your iGoogle and Skydrive.  Look at the document with leader tabs and the document with the table.  Compare and contrast iGoogle and Skydrive.  What differences do you notice?  Do you prefer one over another?  Why?

Digital Stories

Hello students!  It's Monday, April 18 - you were to come to school with your script 100% completed. After you are finish recording your scripts, you're ready for Movie Maker. 

 Movie Maker:  Click start menu / go to Programs File folder / open Movie Maker Folder - double click on "exe" file - you may drag this icon on your desktop if you wish.  Now you're ready to import your images and audio recordings. 

This project is due by Wednesday - have fun. 

 If you are absent - you can do recording of script at home and email it to yourself.
