We’ll be using this site for teacher-to-student communication as well as student-to-student communication. My goal is to do at least one blog post per week. Generally I will post on Monday, and you have until Friday to complete the weekly blog by leaving a comment. It will be YOUR responsibility to check the blog on a regular basis. On days I'm out, daily work will be posted on the blog.
Before we get started we’ll have to set some ground rules.First of all, all postings to this site must use school appropriate language. When you post, write in complete sentences. Key your first initial and last name at the end of your post so I know who posted it (all posts are worth points and I won't accept late posts). When commenting on another student’s post, keep your comments non-personal. You can agree or disagree with a comment but refrain from sarcasm and/or put-downs. State your position on the issue at hand and why you feel that way.
Your assignments:
1. Respond to the following using the comment link bottom right of this post. Ask if you don't see it. Who did you have for Online A? What did you like about the class? What didn't you like about the class? Tell me a little about yourself. Include information on your family, friends and things you enjoy doing. Due today :)
2. In your Delicious Account - create a link to this blog. Enter the appropriate tags for your link.
3. On the student-teacher drive in the "write" folder you will find an excel spreadsheet with class list, when it's your turn, post your email address and personal blog address (create one if you don't have a personal blog - see me if you need help). Be sure to get the complete URL and wait your turn.
For Online A I had Lang. The most enjoyable part about the class would have to be the zoo/aquarium project. The only thing that I disliked would be preforming in front of our peers. I'm not too good in front of people.

You were my Online-A teacher in the first trimester of this school year...To be honest I didn't perticularly enjoy Online-A because I felt I knew most of what I learned, however, I am happy that I was able to make a blog and an IGoogle account; I use my IGoogle all the time now...I am a senior and will only be in this class for about two months because I am graduating. I am currently auditioning at mutiple colleges to try to be accepted into their music departments to be a music theater major, wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteFor online A i had Ms. McCormick. I liked how we got to do powerpoints and word projects in the class. It let me experience many new things that i would of never knew about. I didnt like that some of the assignments were hard and how i may not of understood them as well as others. I have one sister named Kaylee who is 11 years old in 6th grade and i have a dog named daisy along with a rabbit named Lulu. I like to go to the mall shopping whenever i can with my family or friends.
ReplyDeleteI had MR.Titus for Online A, what i liked about the class was that we did alot of things together and that talked about things so we understod them better. what i didn't like about the class was that some days we didn't have anything to do because either we had finished or was done before anyone else.
ReplyDeleteFor Online A I had Titus, And the class was fun and easy. I knew alot of what we were doing so it wasn't that new to me. He sometimes gave us long things to do like type up a page that he gave us, which was boring. I am really good with computers, I spend alot of time on my ipod, phone and computer at home. I love listeing to music and spending time with my friends and family. I play golf, and I golf for the Bedford Highschool Girls team. I have a brother and a sister, and two Shih Tzu puppies(:
ReplyDeleteFor online A I had McCormick. I liked that i could listen to musn the class. I didn't like that honestly I hate using computers. I play soccer and lacrosse for Bedford, and I like to wakeboard in the summer. I have one sister, Megan, who is 21, and I have a forign exchange student this year, Tom Novak, and he's kinda like a brother.

For online A i had Fowler.I like this class because we did a bunch of fun things in the class. I didn't like always having to check the blog but im used to it now. My names Ashley Franklin, i have a half sister named alana, a mom named Mindy, a stepdad named Shaun, grandparents named Jim and Joanne, a dog named cody and 2 cats named simon and max . I have lots friends, one of my bestfriends is Sarah. I love art in general (any type) and i love to write short stories but i dont like to read. For Online A I had Ms. McCormick. I didn't like anything about her class. She gave us too much work at once and expected us to finish it all in one class period. I have a brother, Ronald, and he is turning 19 soon. My mom and dad got devorced when i was in kindergarten. Most of my family on my moms side are in the medical feild and thats basicly all we talk about. My mom is going to school to be a physical therapist. I have two black kittens, Shadow and Athena, we got them when they were only a month old and Athena couldn't walk, and my dad has a dog, Buster. I like to draw, paint, write, and take pictures. I hope to be a photographer one day. And I have austism.

ReplyDeleteYou were my online A teacher. I like that this class wasn't that hard most of the time. I didn't like when we had big assignments and then I couldn't get it. Well I have 3 sisters: Jasmine, Giullia, and Sabrine. My favorite seasons fall. I love summer because I can go swimming everyday and its always hot out. Arabic food is the best. I'm half romanian and arabic.

I had Mccormick for OnlineA. What i liked about the class is that she let us listen to music when we were working on our assignments. What i didnt like about the class is that she didnt make it clear when the assignments were due, and i didnt do as well as i hoped in the class. Some things about me is that im an only child, and things that i like to do is hang out with friends and play sports.

ReplyDeleteFor online a i had ms. fowler. What i liked about her class is that she let us have a little freedom but at the same time we had to get our work done. What i didnt like about the class was that i didnt understand some assignments and i didnt have the time to go back and ask her. Some things about me is that i play alot of sports such as football baseball basketball and i do some hobbies such as ping pong and bowling.

For online A, I had Mr. Titus. I enjoyed this class because he made the assignments fun and he was a really nice teacher. He sometimes was not clear on the assignments so it made them kind of difficult to complete. I have two older sisters, one is a junior and the other is in college. I love to play softball. This year I made the Varsity softball team for Bedford, and I play for a travel team year round. I also like to listen to music in my spare time.
