Assistive Technology and Google Docs Reflection

Now that you are finished with your group assignment on Assistive Technology I would like you to reflect on your experience.
  1. Do you find Google Docs easy to use?
  2. What are some advantages of using Google Docs?
  3. What are some disadvantages of using Google Docs?
  4. Did you have any specific problems using Google Docs?
  5. How could Google Docs be used in other classes?
  6. Do you think you'd use Google Docs to share things with friends?
  7. Any other comments regarding Google Doc's "Cloud Computing"?

    1. yes I find it very easy to use
    2. an advantage is that you can share your documents and projects with other people and you can get to them from any computer.
    3. Although it is an easy program to use, sometimes it doesn't cooperate with what you want, and I still find Word an easier software. 4. I cant always get the sentances wear I want them.
    5. It would be great in core classes because instead of printing papers out and turning them in...you could just send them strait to your teacher.
    6. I will probally never use Google Docs with my friends...I dont really have a need to.

    (I wrote this out now instead of Friday, because I will not be here Thursday or Friday. The choirs are leaving tonight for our New York trip, and I was going to tell you in class but your not here today...sorry)

    1. Google Docs is very easy to use.
    2. Some advantages of Google Docs would be sharing with friends or Co Workers without printing off many copies.
    3. Some disadvantages are that the emails can get quite confusing, and for the lazy type it's to complex.
    4. Yes, I got confused on the documents that were being shared, but I'm sure that's a common error while using it.
    5. Google Docs could be used to share many projects and writing papers in English, or worksheets in math.
    6. I would probably never use Google Docs to share things with friends, but I could if I needed.

    1.) Yes i found Google docs very easy to use.
    2.) The advantages are sharing to people instantly, and being more organized.
    3.) Some disadvantages are, having a little trouble finding where some tabs are.
    4.) In the beggining i had trouble sharing with other people.
    5.)Teachers can use it to share documents to eachother.
    6.) Not really. Thats why cell phones were invented. :)
    7.) They can have directions to where to go to specific places on google docs.

    1. Yes I think google docs was easy to use.
    2.Some advantages are you can share with others without flash drives or anything like that.
    3.If google were to ever crash or the internet, you would lose all of your work.
    4.No I did not have any problems.
    5.You could easily use google docs in other classes, for projects and sharing with group members.
    6. I don't think I would really need to so. no.

    1.Yes, I find google docs really easy to use.
    2.Sharing with other people and letting them reading it and just helping to make it better.
    3.Well there were no disadvantages of using google docs it was so easy!

    5.Like you can share your documents with teachers and see what they say you need help on.

    1. Yes, I find that Google docs is very easy to use.
    2.Some good things that you can do is share important files you need to show to your friend by just clicking the share button and adding there emails.
    3.Sometimes you could send the files to a different persons email you may not know.
    4.At first i was confused on how to share and add the emails.
    5.Its good for sharing group projects with the people that are in those groups.
    6.No. I dont thinl i will ever have to share anything with friends but if i do i know where to go.

    1- Google docs was easy to use after we did it a couple times.

    2- The advantages of using Google docs is, you can chare things with anyone who has iGoogle.

    3- Some disadvantages of using Google docs is, if someone who you want to share with doesn’t have iGoogle then you can't share.

    4- No I didn't have any problems.

    5- It can be used in other classes by sharing with teachers HW assignments instead of printing out papers.

    6- No I don't think I will use it.

    7- No comments.

    2. An advantage of using Google Docs is that you can share your documents with other people and they can edit them also.
    3. Some disadvantages are that it can get confusing if you dont know how to use it, and you have to know the persons email in order to share with them.
    4. In the begining it was kind of confusing for me to get the exact email of the person coppied and pasted so that i could share them.
    5. You could use this in an english class if you are doing a group report. You could do your part of the report and then share it with your friends so that they could work on their part of the report.
    6. I probably would not use Google Docs to share things with my friends but I know it is there if I ever needed it.
    7. No other comments.

    1. i find the google docs very easy to use.
    2. its easier to communicate with class mates if needed.
    3. i dont find anything wrong with it.
    4. i have not had any problems with google dacs.
    5. they could be used as saving like homework, so then you dont loose it, and can just print it off there.

    1I find google docs easy to use,2it lets you share more easily. 3It can become confusing sometimes.4it was hard ofr me to learn how to copy and pastethe information.5it would be good for group projects6i would not use googledocs.7no comments

    1. No because I was not here for three days so when I came back I didn’t know how to use it and it was difficult to figure out.
    2. Some advantages of google docs is that you can share you stuff with your friends and make fun survey things.
    3. Some disadvantages of google docs is that it is difficult to use and not everyone has a google account.
    4. I couldn’t figure out how to upload documents and share them.
    5. If you are not at school the day a report is do you could upload your report and share it with the teacher.
    6. Yes, I already use it to share the surveys I keep making with my friends.
    7. I like making the surveys, they are fun.

    1) yes because all you had to do was upload and share it was simple once you got how to use it.
    2)some advantages are if your friend is in the same buisness as you but lives far away you can easily share thintgs and make it so she can edit itg if need be.
    3) some disadvantages are that you need a gmail account and if you don't know their email address then you can't share.
    4)No i do not think there were any specific problems.
    5) google docs can be used in many ways by other classes like if you have to ddo a group report but cant go over to the other persons house then it wouild be easier to use google docs.
    6) No becaus i have all my friends emails but i would use it only for surveys.
    7)Nope their are no other comments for cloud computing but i can say that some of the things like surveys are fun to make.

    1.Yes it was simple and youroptions were clear.
    2.You can share things with people far away so saves time and money for no travel.
    3.you need an email account to share with other people who have to have an email account.
    4.There were no specific problems with it.
    5.You can have a business with people are far away because you don't have to travel to see them you can jus share the docs.
    6.If my friend was far away then yes but if they are near me then no because i can just go see them.
    7.no other comments.

    1.) Yes, I find Google Docs easy to use.
    2.)Advantages of using Google Docs is that you can share your work with other and they can work on it too. Also if it for a project it is easy for a group to collaborate.
    3.)A disadvantage of using Google docs is that if google or the Internet id down you cant access your files.
    4.) I don't really have an problems with Google docs but it sometimes bothers me when it doesn't do what i want. I find using Microsoft word way easier!
    5.) In other classes you could use it to share homework, or to collaborate on a project without having to meet with the person.
    6.)I Probably wont use google docs to share with my friends unless they use it too or if its the best way to send something.
    7.)I have no further comments.
